Freddie Launches Landmark Initiative: North American HIV Enrollments to Fund Free Medication in Africa

  • A deeply compassionate and globally impactful healthcare program has been unveiled across North America. Freddie, one of the largest HIV care platforms in Canada and the US, has partnered with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) to launch the "PrEP it Forward" campaign. Under this altruistic model, whenever an individual in the US or Canada initiates their HIV prevention or treatment plan through Freddie, the platform will fund a free six-month supply of Lenacapavir for a patient in Africa. Lenacapavir is an advanced injectable preventive medication administered just twice a year, which medical experts consider a massive game-changer in the global fight to eradicate AIDS.
